Rowan Douglas is the CEO of Willis Global Analytics and Chairman of the Willis Research Network. Based in London, Rowan has been with Willis since 2000 and is on the UK Prime Minister's Council for Science and Technology, the UK Natural Environmental Research Council, the UK Government's Lead Expert Group on Improving Future Disaster Anticipation and Resilience, the World Meteorological Organisation Expert Advisory Group on Financial Risk Transfer, the Advisory Panel of the NCAR Earth System Laboratory, the Governing Board of the Global Earthquake Model Foundation, the Private Sector Advisory Group of the U.N. International Strategy for Disaster Reduction, and the UNEP Finance Initiative Insurance commission.
