Matt Palmer

Matt Palmer is the Senior Director of Cyber Risk Management at Willis Towers Watson. An experienced global CISO and former web application developer, Matt began his career at KPMG before setting up his own business and then moving into financial services. Matt has led global security functions in retail banking, fund administration, alternative investments, private equity and insurance. He joined Willis Towers Watson as Chief Information Security Officer in 2014, leading the company through a major security transformation and a merger before moving to a new role leading development of the company’s cyber risk management solutions. Matt is the founder of the Channel Islands Information Security Forum, and a former NHS Trust Governor, City Councillor, and non-executive director.   He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Systems Security Practitioner (CISSP), a Member of the Institute of Information Security Professionals and the Chartered Institute for IT.
